Update: Matt will host a Bike for Burma event, Wednesday, May 12. Meet at Mack’s Bike and Goods, 2536 Ewing Ave., 5p, for a 5K bike ride to 1100 Florence Gallery. Gather at the gallery around 6p for an artist talk and learn more about Mutual Aid Myanmar.

Artist Bio
Matthew Braun aka Know Love is an artist and educator currently living in Evanston, IL. Braun holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art focussing on Painting and Printmaking as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching focusing on Art Education. He has exhibited his artwork and painted murals in the US and throughout Asia.
His work is primarily figurative and reflects on his experiences teaching art to children as a form of self-empowerment to encourage and inspire the youth of tomorrow.
These paintings and drawings are inspired by Braun’s experiences living, teaching and traveling in India, Nepal and Myanmar. Braun will be donating 20% of all proceeds from the sales of these paintings to Mutual Aid Myanmar in support of the Civil Disobedience Movement in Myanmar. https://www.mutualaidmyanmar.org/
